Kary Purvis created Circa 72 after studying jewellery design at Glasgow Metropolitan College.
Drawing inspiration from the world around her, nature
and in particular, her surroundings growing up in the Hampshire
countryside, Kary designs each piece with love.
" I have always been fascinated by jewellery and the different styles
that individuals are drawn to. As a young child I was mesmerised by
the dozen thin silver bangles that my Mother wore and the sound they made as she moved. Now, each piece I create has its origins in a personal memory, of a place, person or time in my life that I cherish and hold dear. For me making jewellery is a way of expressing my feelings and creating a lasting representation of those memories."
